Step by step
- 1
Sankalpa & kalasha
Purify, do sankalpa and set the kalasha/photo.

Shodashopachara pooja
Worship with sixteen upacharas and Vishnu ashtottara.

Katha (5 chapters)
Read the five chapters of the Satyanarayana vrata katha.

Naivedya & aarti
Offer the sapada naivedya, do mangalarati and distribute prasada.
Note: Frequently done at griha pravesha, weddings and to fulfil a vow.
