- Bamboo soop & baskets
- Thekua, fruits, sugarcane
- Kalash, diya
- Sindoor, water pot
Step by step

Nahay Khay
Day 1 — bathe and eat a simple sattvik meal to begin purification.

Kharna
Day 2 — day-long fast broken at night with kheer and roti, then begin nirjala fast.

Sandhya Arghya
Day 3 evening — offer arghya to the setting sun standing in water.

Usha Arghya & paran
Day 4 dawn — offer arghya to the rising sun and break the fast.
Note: Most prominent in Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern UP and Nepal.
